Our Mission
Food For Kids Foundation, WA Division is driven by the passion to ensure no child goes to bed hungry. We strive to provide nutritious meals to children in need, fostering a healthier and brighter future for the younger generation.

By rescuing surplus food and unusable items, we support children and families in need through our redistribution network. Our efforts help minimize waste and encourage responsible handling of surplus materials that would otherwise end up in landfills.

Healthy Meals Program
We are grateful to all of our volunteers who make this mission possible!

We are dedicated to the responsible distribution of all usable donations received. For example, grocery items that are no longer salable
are prioritized for use by local partners who prepare meals in our partnering community kitchens to feed families that would otherwise go without. We also distribute sorted produce to individual families in need and/or pack backpacks with our partner schools; for kiddos to take home to their families.

Cultivation of Sustainability
Our volunteers develop remarkable skills in utilizing and repurposing a wide variety of items that would otherwise be destined for the landfill, giving these items a second life while contributing to a more sustainable community all while helping those in need.
